Brief History: 

In 1987 my (unknown to me) future husband, Dan, picked me up for our first date… driving his 1971 911T Targa in Light Ivory. A cute boy and a great car?! Ok! This was just the beginning of how Porsche has been a part of our lives. At some point, Dan needed a new engine and so the car sat idle for a handful of years. He contemplated selling the car to buy our house - and I said NO! There were way too many memories he had, and that we shared, with that car. He eventually got the engine redone … which led him to RGruppe. And led us to this great community of friends. At the that time we had a full house with 3 kids - so I was driving the ‘mom’ cars … and always dreaming of have my own Porsche one day. Fast forward to Sept 2021 and I finally made that dream a reality! A gorgeous, sexy, black 2006 911 Carrera S (997.1) and it’s a 6 speed, of course. It’s the perfect first Porsche for me, just enough power and such a beauty. Driving our cars together is just an added bonus of doing our lives together. My car is tracked, driven by all our adult kids and I love it more and more every time I drive.
