Brief History: 

I bought my ‘83 944 three years ago while I was still in college. It had been a dream of mine to own a Porsche for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a Porsche household, surrounded by all types of 911s. As a kid I loved the way the 911 looked and as a young adult I loved the way they drove too. Early on I got the Porsche itch. It was inevitable that this itch would need to be scratched. So finally, as someone in their early 20s and working summers while I was in school I had some spare cash and I set out upon finding a P-car of my own. When the listing for this 944 was posted, I knew I had to make mine. Between the clean history and Rad 80’s looks, I knew it was meant to be. Since purchasing, I’ve enjoyed my car on weekend canyon drives and taken it to many cars and coffee events. My 944 (nickname Jake after the character in the movie Sixteen Candles) has even won its division at the 2023 PCA Cal-Inland Concourse! Having attended several Lufts myself, participating with “Jake” at Air-Water would be a dream come true.
