Brief History:
24 year second owner. Rebuilt it for track, but kept it looking stock. Repainted once to match original stock color. Base model but has back seat belts. Tracked often with SpeedVentures group. Motor was redone by the late owner of The Stable in San Francisco before I moved to Los Angeles. Increased original base engine output to 300hp by adding sport cams, larger piston bore, aluminum flywheel, and larger throttle body. All suspension was upgraded to Turbo-spec components. Daily driver!
My most unique quality is...
The color. This is a stock, original color from Porsche - "Metallic Bronze" that always reminds the owner of the subtlety in color choice beyond what might come "out of the tube."
My owner got me because...
He always appreciated the design aesthetic of Porsche and being a designer himself, it was a piece of design history that he always wanted to own, work on, race, and enjoy.
One surprising thing abut me is...
Outside, I may look very stock, but underneath the skin, there's a lot of subtle modifications that pulls more horsepower, better stability, and overall lightened weight than many other stock 911SC's
