Brief History: 

I wanted to retire my 911 997 as my daily driver and also have a car I could track and time trial race. So in the fall of 2022 I found this 718 Cayman S and it has been such a fun car as both daily driver and track car. This car is PDK and my 997 is manual. Best of both worlds! The vanity plate is PDK IT and the 997 SHIFT IT. The car is mostly stock but has some track modifications. The first upgrade I made was to Fabspeed exhaust. This winter I worked with Competition Motorsport to install a race seat, harness bar and 5-point harness. What a difference the race seat makes! I wasn't sure I would like the race seat in my daily driving but its been great! I also run a set of OZ wheels for track and race days. This car has been so much fun to drive. Similar in some ways to the 911 but also very different. The mid engine balance of the car is so great on the track and even though it only has a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder engine, at 350hp the turbos make for plenty fun fast acceleration with 3.9 0-60. It checks all the boxes as both a great track day car and daily driver.
