Brief History:

My 1981 911SC was originally delivered in New York state and spent most of its life on the East Coast before the previous owner brought it to the UK for 6 years. I purchased the car sight unseen and brought it to San Francisco where it has been known as "Pal", short for Palisander, and we do monthly road rallies, creative photoshoots, and rip through the Bay Area's best backroads whenever we can. The car has mostly original paint and its numbers matching 3.0 engine, but with a new custom airbox and fan strap to match the eventual interior upgrades to come! The car showed at Luft 2023 and the inaugural Air+Water. We are so excited to be back!

My most unique quality is...

my color is called Rosewood Metallic (in the US) and Palisander metallic (in Europe) and was only offered on the 911 SC in 80 and 81!

My owner got me because...

he had fallen in love with his grandmother's 74 911S as a child and vowed to have a 911 of his own...someday. In a manic episode (joking...) he started to seriously look for "the car" found me in England of all places!

One surprising thing abut me is...

I have belt buckles on my rear grille as badges! One in about my new home, the Bay Area, and the other is "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" because who doesn't love Dolly?
