Brief History:
This is my fifth Porsche. My daughter, Kelly, bought it for me new in 2015 when I was looking for a used Carrera S Cabriolet, since I had been without a 911 for five years. She told me she bought all her cars at wholesale in Beverly Hills and could have her broker find me a clean low mileage Carrera S Cabriolet in my price range but at wholesale, which would mean a newer model year. She tricked me into thinking that, but intended to buy a brand new one. She surprised me in October 2015 with a big bow on it in her driveway! It now has 44,800 miles registered, with 28,000 logged driving 2,000 miles each way between our California and Wisconsin homes over the last 7 years. It sports a 7 speed PDK transmission, Chrono Package, Turbo wheels, camel leather interior. Most of the 44,500 miles is with the top down! The V TAIL license plate represents my 1969 V35B Bonanza airplane that I fly for fun. I still drive my first Porsche, a 1969 911S Targa that I bought in August, 1971 when I returned from Vietnam where I served as a USAF pilot in the 17th Special Operations Squadron. I had a need for speed and quality and all my Porsches give me that on many drives. The reason the 69 911S Targa is not here today is that it is stored for the winter in my heated garage in Wisconsin. Maybe next year!! I’ve been a member of PCA since 1991. Thanks for stopping by!
