Brief History:
I purchased my 912 about 7 years ago with the intention to do long distance rallies and drives. The picture attached is from the Overcrest Rally last year. I’ve rebuilt the engine myself 2x now (number 3 went lean during break in on the Faultline 500). I love this car and am the second owner. The coolest parts are the original things still in it (pipe tobacco smoke, label from when the odometer broke, holes in the headliner from the sun shield where his dogs sat on the parcel shelf). It was hit 2x in the 80s as it was the original owners daily. It was then resprayed to its current red. Bill from the Malibu Kitchen identified the color once as he told me to park it next to 328. Anyway, I love this car and it will be closer to stock soon (4.5 wheels, hubs, 165s).
