Brief History: 

The Continental was purchased by my father-in-law in 1987 and fully restored a year later. He barely drove the car and rested in a Costa Mesa garage for most of its "new" life. In 2013, and as my father-in-law was aging, my wife worked out a "deal" with her dad and the car came into my possession on my 50th birthday. I drive the car regularly and participate in various 356 shows from time to time. The car is matching numbers and refurbished to original specs with a COA. The car still looks great with a restoration over 35 years ago.
