Brief History: 

Original owner, I custom ordered the turbo in 2000 and taken delivery of a 2002 model in Sept 2001, the first or one of the very first delivered with the XAF aerokit package from what I was told, ordered with a few light options it was purchased from Vasek Polak Porsche in Hermosa Beach Ca at the time the dealership was under transition to a new owner Mike Sullivan “The Car Guy” at the time. I purchased with the intention of primarily track days and canyon slamming. As soon as delivery was taken the track modifications were started from day one. I waited patiently for 18 months to take delivery while accumulating parts to modify the turbo. First few years were enjoyed on track and canyons subsequent injuries kept me from enjoying the turbo and it sat in storage with bi-monthly starts and warm ups to keep things kosher til I was able to get behind the wheel. At the time of purchase I was middle aged 42 yrs old and now in 2024 at the age of 66 it’s still my passion. Albeit the obsession has changed, my original track car has now become a garage queen and concours winner. My personal history with Porsche started with restoring vintage VWs from 21 window deluxe micro buses, convertible bugs, Ghias etc.. to early air cooled 356’s, early air cooled Carreras and various 930 Turbos along with some pre merger AMGs and a few BMW AC Schnitzers and such scattered in the mix. A few of the mods; GT3 cup suspension with Moton club sport, various Porsche Motorsports, Eisenlohr, Tarret, Wevo components.
