Brief History:
Hi! My car is a 1977 Porsche 911S in Ice Green Metallic but with quite a few upgrades and modifications to make it more driver focussed and reliable. The main changes from stock are a 3.0L engine pulled from an 83 911SC, SC rear flares, lowered ride height, Momo Prototipo steering wheel, sports exhaust, Numeric Racing 915 short shift kit and aluminium pedals, factory Porsche power sports seats from a 964 generation car, ARE 398 wheels 7's and 8's (unfortunately not real BBS RS's. Wheels came with the car and I am keeping them on until I can justify a set of Group4 Campagnolo's!) The car has been repainted once in the 90's when the flares were added, but is a factory ice green metallic car. The paint is a 7/10, its pretty good but theres a couple of areas up close where it has cracked or has orange peel. I live in Vancouver, BC and am an active member of the local PCA group, regularly attending the early morning Sea to Sky highway drives and shows. Also a regular at the Vancouver cars and coffee events. I drive my 911 as much as I possibly can, essentially a daily driver from March-November then when I can over winter depending on road salt levels. The car is a driver level car, certainly not a concours car. I think the modifications reflect this! I'm working on getting a ducktail for the car which may or may not be installed in time for the Air/Water event. If accepted, I will be driving the car down from Canada on the Pacific Coast Highway for the event. Driving the PCH in an aircooled 911 has been a bucket list trip for years, this event would be a great excuse to finally do it! Thanks for your time reading this, hopefully you like the car and think it matches the ethos of the Air/Water event! Cheers!
